Ukraine opens wheat flour exports to China

Ukraine has officially opened the opportunity to export wheat flour to the People’s Republic of China. This was reported by the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

According to the agency, the relevant Protocol on inspection, phytosanitary and sanitary requirements was signed by the State Service of Ukraine and the General Administration of Customs of the PRC.

The document defines requirements for production, control and export of products and opens new opportunities for Ukrainian flour producers in one of the world’s largest markets.

Ukraine guarantees compliance with Chinese food safety legislation, absence of quarantine organisms, and full control at all stages — from wheat cultivation to the export of finished products.

Special attention is given to transparency and traceability: each batch must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate and an international certificate for the export of non-animal food products.

In this context, laboratory quality control of flour plays a key role. One of the tools used for this purpose is the CropLab Gluten Analyzer — a laboratory instrument designed to determine wet and dry gluten content, gluten index, and water-holding capacity. The use of such equipment helps producers ensure stable product quality and compliance with international market requirements.
