
Ukraine: Soybean oil production increased
In December 2017, Ukraine managed to produce 18.4 thousand tons of soybean oil, which is 21% more than in December last year. Then the production of soybean oil reached a level of 15.2 thousand tons.

Compared to the previous month of 2017, soybean oil production increased by 15%.
At the beginning of the current MY, the production of soybean oil reached a level of 61.7 thousand tons. In comparison with the last year, the increase was about 25%, taking the first place during the period from September to December.
It should be recalled that in total, 6.4 million tons of raw vegetable oils were produced in Ukraine, which exceeds the indicator of 2016 by 14%.
The production of soybean oil in Ukraine continues to increase, which indicates that Ukrainian producers are ready to compete in the global market. According to the latest data, soybean oil production in Ukraine amounted to more than 5.8 thousand tons in February 2022, which is 35.7% more than in January this year.
This growth in soybean oil production is associated with an increase in soybean acreage, as well as improved production and processing technologies. Soybean oil is an important export product for Ukraine, which is one of the world’s leading soybean producers.
Increasing the production of soybean oil in Ukraine can help increase exports, as well as strengthen positions in the global market. Ukrainian soybean oil producers must continue to introduce new technologies and develop their business strategies in order to successfully compete in the global market and meet the growing demand for this product.
