Winter Crop Yields in Zhetysu Region Exceed 100 c/ha

In Zhetysu region, systematic scientific support is helping farmers increase winter crop yields. This year, the yield at PSC Birlik exceeded 100 c/ha, according to APK News, citing the Ministry of Agriculture.

A scientific and practical seminar titled “Modern Technologies for Highly Productive Grain Crops” was held at the farm. Participants were presented with the results of applying science-based approaches to grain cultivation, rational use of irrigated land, and efficient water resource management.

Special attention was given to the technology of obtaining two harvests per year on irrigated land, the use of early-maturing crop varieties, optimization of agronomic practices, and modern irrigation methods. Specialists also discussed corn cultivation using hybrids of different maturity groups, which helps distribute the load on water sources more efficiently and can save up to 40% of water resources.

Higher yields and the adoption of intensive farming technologies increase requirements not only for crop production but also for grain receiving, quality control, and further processing. For large elevators, ports, railway stations, and logistics hubs, automated grain sampling becomes an important part of this infrastructure.

GrainBot 005 is a stationary automatic grain sampler designed for sampling grain from trucks and railway wagons. The model is developed for facilities with intensive traffic flow, where high performance, sampling accuracy, and stable laboratory control are essential.

The equipment provides automated movement of the boom, carriage, and sampling probe, allowing samples to be taken across the full loading area and depth. This helps obtain more representative samples, reduce the influence of the human factor, and improve the repeatability of grain quality control.

GrainBot 005 features an 8000 mm rotating boom, reinforced construction, increased carriage movement speed, and extended customization options for specific site requirements. The 5200 mm sampling probe allows grain to be sampled by loading depth, while a powerful turbine ensures fast grain intake.

Key advantages of the model include automatic sampling from trucks and railway wagons, a wide operating range, manual and remote control modes, high positioning accuracy, simple maintenance, and the option to integrate a monitoring system.
