Ukrainian farmers threshed 56.6 million tons of grain

According to the results of 2024, Ukrainian farmers harvested 56.6 million tons of grain, despite the challenges associated with weather conditions and the war. The largest harvests were recorded in the southern and central regions of the country. The main crops are wheat, barley and corn.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, this year more than 85% of the areas allocated for grain were cultivated. Producers also note that the quality of grain in some regions suffered due to excessive rains and delays in harvesting.

To preserve the quality of grain, special attention was paid to its drying. Modern grain dryers, in particular European models Perry, have become an indispensable tool in this process. They allow you to effectively reduce the moisture level in grain, ensuring long-term storage and high market value of products. Drying grain using such dryers helps reduce energy costs and increase farm productivity.

In addition, agricultural market experts have predicted that the harvested crop will become an important factor in stabilizing the country’s economy, meeting domestic food needs and supporting exports. Ukrainian grain crops remain highly competitive on the world market, which is especially important in the context of the restoration of logistics infrastructure.

Despite all the difficulties, farmers are confidently looking to the future, planning a new sowing season.
