Ukraine: Last week Ukraine exported 329.000 t of corn

During the period from January 22 to 26, 2018, 329.000 t of corn were supplied to foreign markets from Ukraine.

In addition, during the reporting period, approximately 86.000 t of wheat and 6.000 t of barley were shipped.

The report says that most of the EU countries such as Spain, Italy and the Netherlands purchase Ukrainian grain crops, as exports of cereals from Brazil are gradually decreasing.

In addition, Russia during the reporting week exported 447.000 t of wheat, 50.000 t of corn and 81.000 t of barley.

It should be recalled that during the first half of the current MY, slightly more than 23.000.000 t of grain were shipped to foreign markets from Ukraine, which is 2.370.000 t less than the same indicator of the previous marketing year.

Over the past week, Ukraine continued to increase the volume of corn exports, sending 329,000 tons of grain abroad. Such data is provided by the Agricultural News Portal. The main buyers of Ukrainian corn are the EU, South Korea and Japan.
