Ukraine: The government plans to improve programs to support the agricultural sector

The Government of Ukraine has decided to improve programs to support the agricultural sector, which will allow for a more successful development of this industry, and will also provide an opportunity to expand the activities of agricultural enterprises.

Such information was provided by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Groisman.

The main activities of the government include the support of the livestock sector, and in addition, the construction of upgraded buildings and an increase in the livestock population, the support of small, medium and large farms, contributing to the development of domestic machinery for the agricultural sector, which will create new work places and provide farmers with good equipment at competitive prices.

According to the Prime Minister, there are many ways to support the livestock sector: from direct subsidies to flexible credit systems, with a minimum possible loan rate.

The head of the government believes that the methods of support are completely dependent on the needs of the market and the government has every opportunity to keep pace with the market, and thus to create the necessary action plan in accordance with the requirements. However, the basic principles must be formed before the end of this month.
