Ukraine: Farmers in 2017 received 135 million hryvnia for the purchase of agricultural machinery

Agricultural producers of Ukraine in 2017 received 135 million hryvnia. This amount was allocated as a partial compensation for the purchase of agricultural equipment produced in Ukraine in accordance with the government program for supporting the agrarians .

The number of purchased agricultural machinery was 2900 pieces, and the sum of compensation amounted to 134.06 million dollars. In 2017, 1220 agricultural enterprises used government program to purchase the agricultural equipment.

Most of the equipment was purchased in Kiev (the number of purchased equipment was 980 units), Zaporizhia (the number of purchased equipment was 190 units), Khmelnitsk (the number of purchased equipment was 187 units) and Odessa (the number of purchased equipment was 177 units) regions. Consequently, the largest compensations were received by agrarians from Odessa, Zaporozhye, Lugansk and Mykolaiv regions.

Also, it should be recalled that in 2017, 422 clients of Oschadbank received a refund from the state in the amount of 48 million UAH for agricultural machinery of Ukrainian production.

In 2017, Ukrainian agriculture received important state support. Thanks to the allocation of 135 million hryvnias for the purchase of agricultural machinery, agricultural producers were able to strengthen their production opportunities and increase labor productivity.

State aid for the purchase of agricultural machinery was directed to the purchase of various types of agricultural machinery, such as tractors, combines, seed drills and other equipment necessary for effective farming.

This assistance became an important step in the development of Ukrainian agriculture, since the increase in labor productivity is one of the key factors in increasing production and improving the quality of agricultural production.

Thanks to the support of the state, Ukrainian agricultural producers can equip their farms with the latest agricultural machinery and technologies, which helps to increase the efficiency of production and improve the quality of production.
