Ukraine: Agrarians will receive compensation for the purchase of grain hoppers

On Thursday, July 5, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for amendments №155 and 166, according to which, grain hoppers are included in the list of agricultural machinery, the purchase of which implies a partial refund of costs.

Such information was provided by the portal “Economic Pravda”.

However, the amount of reimbursed funds can not be more than 30% of the price of purchased grain hoppers.

The adopted amendments refer to the products of two enterprises for the construction of wagons in our country, namely, to the Kryukovsky plant and Dneprovagonmash.

It should be recalled that during May, agricultural producers purchased 663 units of equipment. Also, 456 applications for cost recovery were submitted, the total amount of which was approximately 43 million UAH.

Ukrainian farmers who are engaged in the transportation of their grain crops have the opportunity to take advantage of state support. Compensation is provided at the expense of the state budget and aims to reduce the costs of agricultural enterprises for the purchase of grain trucks and wagons for transporting products.

Full or partial compensation is provided depending on the volume of the order and contractual terms. To receive support, farmers must apply to the relevant state authorities and follow the established rules.

According to various estimates, the state compensation program for the purchase of grain trucks and wagons is an effective measure to reduce farmers’ costs and contributes to the development of agriculture in Ukraine.
