
Amount of grain exported from Ukraine
Since the beginning of the current MY, 11.000.000 t of wheat have been exported from Ukraine, which exceeds the figure for the same period of last year by 130.000 t.

Since the beginning of the current MY, 3.770.000 t of barley were exported, which is 474.000 t less than the figure for the same period of the previous MY. Also, 4.690.000 t of corn were exported, which is 1.290.000 t less than the figure for the same period of 2016/17 MY. Exports volume of rye amounted to 10.500 t.
In addition, during three months of the current MY, the export of soybean oil dropped to 32.600 t, which is almost 25% less that the last season. In the 2016/17 marketing year, this figure was 42.900 t.

During November 2017/18 marketing year it was possible to export 11.200 t, while in October 12.400 t were exported. However, this figures are much inferior to last year. During November 2016/17 MY it was managed to export 20.200 t.
To date, the main importing countries are the countries of the EU and China. The share of exports to these regions are 58% and 34% respectively.

Trends in exports of agricultural products from Ukraine are characterized by steady growth. Since 2016, the volume of exports has grown by 44%, which indicates a constant increase in demand for Ukrainian products.
Agricultural production in Ukraine is carried out both on large commercial farms and on small family farms. Most enterprises are focused on export, which indicates a high level of competitiveness of Ukrainian goods.
Among the main exported products are grain (wheat, corn, barley), rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, meat, dairy products, eggs, nuts and many others.
