Ukraine: Indicators of grain export

From the beginning of the current MY and as of January 24, 2018, Ukraine exported 23.070.000 t of grain crops, which is 2.370.000 t less than the indicator for the same period of the previous marketing year.

Such data was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

During the 7 months, almost 12.000.000 t of wheat were exported from Ukraine, which is 462.000 t less than the figure for the same period of the previous year.

Also, it was reported that during 7 months of the current MY the export of barley amounted to 3.930.000 t (-482 thousand tons compared to the previous year). In addition, 7.060.000 t of corn was sent to foreign markets (-1.37 million tons compared to the previous year). Export volumes of rye amounted to 13.200 t.

It should be recalled that during the six months of the current MY, India took the 8th place in the import of wheat from Ukraine, while exports volume to this country amounted to half a million tons of wheat.
