Ukraine: The indicators of rape exports increased more than twice

According to statistical data, 2.1 million tons of rapeseed was exported from Ukraine during this marketing season, which is 2.2 times more than during the same period of the past year.

Most of the exports went to the European Union, namely 82%, while last year 94% of the total amount was shipped to the EU. The main importing countries were the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France.

In addition, the second place was taken by South Asia. There were shipped 12% of the total amount (to Pakistan and Bangladesh). The Middle East (the UAE and Israel) closes the top three with the 5% volume of purchases of the total amount of exported rapeseed.

Over the past year, Ukraine has significantly increased the export of rapeseed. Sales volumes abroad more than doubled compared to the previous period. This result testifies to the stable development of the industry and the increase in the competitiveness of Ukrainian grain in the world markets.
