The largest quantity of wheat from Ukraine was imported by such countries as Morocco, Spain and Tunisia. The volume of export supplies to these regions amounted to 690.900 t, 487.700 t and 386.500 t respectively, while the cost of supplies to these countries reached 120.700.000 dollars, 85.200.000 dollars and 67.600.000 dollars.

It should be recalled than last year the greatest amount of wheat was imported by such countries as Egypt, India and Morocco.

During the period from January to April of this year, Ukraine has significantly increased the export of wheat, according to a report by the State Customs Service. The volume of exports amounted to more than 12 million tons, which is 10% more than in the same period last year.

The main consumers of Ukrainian wheat are Asian countries, including China, India and Iran, as well as EU countries, including Italy and Spain. Experts attribute the growth in wheat exports to an increase in its quality and competitiveness in world markets.

In addition, Ukrainian wheat producers are actively working to increase yields and reduce production costs, which also contributes to an increase in exports.

Demand for Ukrainian wheat remains high, and experts predict further growth in exports in the coming months.
