
Ukraine: Export indicators of grain from seaports
Through Ukrainian ports during 12 months of 2017, 35.4 million tons of grain were transhipped, which is 6% less than the figure of 2016.

The report says that the most significant decrease in export was the decrease in export of barley. The export of this crop decreased by 27% and this year it amounted to 3.9 million tons. Also, there was a decline in the export of wheat. In 2017, export of this crop decreased by 12% and amounted to 14.9 million tons. While during the reporting period, there was an increase in the supply of corn. The increase in export of this crop was 7% and the export volumes increased to 16.5 million tons.
The biggest amount of the grain was transhipped by the TIS company. The second place took the Nibulon company. The exports volumes amounted to 4.3 million tons. And the Transbankterminal company closes the top three. The exports volumes of this company during the reporting period amounted to 2.7 million tons of cereals.
In 2017, the biggest amount of corn and wheat were exported to Egypt (1.8 million tons and 1.9 million tons respectively). And the largest volume of barley was exported to Saudi Arabia (the export figure was 0.8 million tons).
