Ukraine: The volume of foreign grain supplies amounted to 19 million tons

During the current MY as of December 5, 2018, a slightly more than 19.000.000 t of grain crops were supplied from Ukraine to foreign markets, which exceeds the figures for the same period of last year by 1.600.000 t.

Such information was provided by Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

Over the current MY, 9.460.000 t were exported from Ukraine, which is 660.000 t less than last year.

Corn supplies reached 6.220.000 t, which is almost 2.700.000 t more than over the same period of the previous year.

Barley exports reached slightly more than 3.000.000 t. Barley supply has a tendency to decrease in volumes. Thus, the figures of the current year are lower than last year’s by 710.000 t.

Foreign supplies of rye reached slightly more than 67.000 t.

It should be recalled that this year the supply of wheat in the amount of 16.000.000 t was agreed.
