Volumes of overseas supplies of Ukrainian grain exceed 34 million tons

During the period from the beginning of 18/19 MY and as of March 13, 34.3 million tons of grain crops were supplied from Ukraine to foreign markets, which is 6.7 million tons more than it was supplied abroad last year.

Such information was received from Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

During this period, 12.8 million tons of wheat were shipped abroad, which is 0.6 million tons less than last year. In addition, 3.28 million tons of barley and 17.6 million tons of corn were also exported. The export volumes of these crops showed an increase during the current year. Thus, the increase in the export of barley was 0.72 million tons, and the increase in the export of corn reached 7.5 million tons.

Foreign supplies of flour reached nearly 185 thousand tons. Ukraine is one of the largest grain exporters in the world, and its position in the world market continues to strengthen. The volume of foreign deliveries of Ukrainian grain exceeds 34 million tons, which indicates a high demand for Ukrainian grain crops. Ukrainian grain products enjoy a good reputation outside the country due to their high quality and competitive prices. More and more foreign buyers opt for Ukrainian grain crops, which contributes to an increase in export volumes.
