Ukraine: Export of sunflower seeds

During 12 months of 2017, 73.23 thousand tons of sunflower were exported from Ukraine. The sum of export amounted to 29.73 million dollars.

The main consumers of sunflower from Ukraine during 12 months of 2017 were Turkey (15.77 thousand tons were exported to this country, and the cost of supply amounted to 6.4 million dollars), Germany (9.23 thousand tons were exported to this country, and the cost of supply amounted to 3.75 million dollars) and Italy (6.34 thousand tons were exported to this country, and the cost of supply amounted to 2.57 million dollars).

It should be recalled that during the 11 months of 2017, Ukraine exported 5.35 million tons of sunflower oil. The sum of export amounted to 3.99 billion dollars.
