Ukraine: Export of sunflower from Ukraine during 3 months of this year amounted to 8 thousand tons

During the first three months of this year, 8.36 thousand tons of sunflower seeds were exported from Ukraine. The amount of export supplies amounted to 4.48 million dollars.

Such information was provided by the State Fiscal Service.

The greatest amount of sunflower during the specified period was purchased by such countries as Italy (the sum was 1.08 million dollars), Georgia (the sum was 560 thousand dollars) and Romania (the sum was 470 thousand dollars). The volume of export supplies to the abovementioned countries reached the level of 2 thousand tons, 1.04 thousand tons and 0.88 thousand tons respectively.

Figures of sunflower imports during the indicated period were 18.68 thousand tons.

It should be recalled that during the 2017, 73.23 thousand tons of sunflower seeds were exported from Ukraine totalled 29.73 million dollars.
