Ukraine: Four Ukrainian regions increased flour production

During the 8 months of this year, some enterprises in the regions of Ukraine increased the production of flour products and bran.

Such information was provided by APK-Inofrm.

The enterprises of the Kiev region increased the production of flour to 187 thousand tons. The increase is 6%. Also, the enterprises of Khmelnitsky, Lviv and Chernihiv regions increased the production by 13%, 9% and 27% respectively. Thus, the quantity of the produced product in the abovementioned areas was 74 thousand tons, 44 thousand tons and 18 thousand tons.

During the eight months of this year, 1.1 million tons of flour were produced in Ukraine, which is 10% less than last year.

It should be recalled that during the period from January to August, the volume of external supplies amounted to 216.6 thousand tons of flour, amounting to slightly more than 49 million dollars.
