
RUSSIA: In the first three months of 2021, Russia exported more than 12 million tons of cereals
In January-March 2021, 12.25 million tons were exported from Russia, almost 30% more than the same period in 2020.
Wheat and meslin accounted for more than 8 million tons of the exported volume, with shipments in 2021 up 22% from the same period a year earlier.
Exports of corn in the reporting period amounted to 1.5 million tons (doubled), barley – 1.1 million tons (70% more).
57 thousand tons of rice were also shipped (up by 72%). Wheat and wheat and rye flour – 34 thousand tons (-45%).
16 thousand tons of sunflower seeds were also exported from Russia.
