Russia: The results of the harvesting campaign

As of the end of November of this year, the area from which the harvest of grain and leguminous crops was harvested amounted to 44.5 million hectares, which accounted for 99.2% of all the areas under grain. Harvest volumes reached 116.5 million tons, while the average yield reached 2.62 t/ha.

Such information was obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture.

The area under wheat amounted to 26.4 million hectares as of the reporting date, which is 99.2% of the total area. The amount of collected wheat amounted to 73.4 million tons, and the average yield reached 2.79 t/ha.

As of the reporting date, barley harvest amounted to 17.7 million tons, and corn – 11 million tons. The yield of these crops reached 2.24 t/ha and 4.97 t/ha, respectively.

The volume of harvested sunflower amounted to 12.5 million tons, and the yield was 1.6 t/ha. This crop was harvested from 7.8 million hectares, which is 97.6% of the harvest area.
