RUSSIA: sowing in the Kuban is to finish by May 1st

Spring crops in the Kuban occupy more than 300 thousand hectares (18% of the planned) and their sowing is planned to be finished by the end of April.

The grain growers in the region are counting on a high yield. In the previous season, it was harvested 9.4 million tons, and in 19/20 – 11.2 million tons.

Currently, corn has already been sown in the Kuban. 470 thousand hectares have been allocated for it.
