Russia: 3% of the area planted with grain is still unharvested
At the beginning of November, almost 46 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops were threshed – this is 97.4% of all sown areas. In monetary terms, this is estimated at 134,100,000 tons. The average yield is 29.2 centners per hectare.

The harvesting area under sugar beet amounted to 846,4 thousand hectares which is 91.2% of the planned area. The amount of beet harvested reached 30,5 million tons. The yield is 360.7 kg per hectare.
As of November 2nd, the sown area under winter crops amounted to 18.8 million hectares, which is 98% of the planned area.
