Ukraine: Export figures of flour and cereals starting from the beginning of 2017/18 MY

During the period from the beginning of 2017/18 marketing year and as of mid-January, the export of grain crops reached a level of 21.324.000 t.

Such data was provided by the State Fiscal Service.

The structure of export for this period is as follows. Since the beginning of the current marketing season, 11.440.000 t of wheat has been exported, which is 356.000 t less than the figure for the same period of the previous marketing year. The export figures of barley reached a level of 3.800.000 t, which is 533.000 t less than during the same period last year. The export figure of corn was 6.000.000 t, while during the same period last year it was exported 1.400.000 t more. In addition, rye has taken an insignificant share in the structure of exports. Export figures of this crop reached a level of 12.900 t.

It should be recalled that the exports of agricultural products to the EU countries increased by 38%.

In the reporting period, the flour exports amounted to 247.600 t, which exceeds the data for the same period of last year by 42.600 t.

The structure of flour exports for this period is as follows. Since the beginning of the current marketing year, 246.800 t of wheat flour have been exported, while export of flour from other cereals have amounted to 800 t.

It should be recalled that during the 11 months of 2017 in Ukraine there were produced almost 1.700.000 t of wheat flour.
