Kazakhstan: Purchase of grain by the state in Kazakhstan

According to earlier data, it is known that the government has finally determined the amount of grain that will be purchased from each region. In Kostanay region, 643.000 tons of grain of the third class will be purchased. This amount will be evenly distributed among different areas of the region.

It should be recalled that the state decided to purchase grain from farmers, since the current situation in the market has developed in such a way that there is simply no sales, and consequently the farmers do not have the money to pay wages to workers, to purchase new equipment and necessary spare parts, to prepare for the next sowing season. Also, it is worth noting that a similar situation was observed in 2011, when the harvest was much higher than demand, consumption and general sales, so the state purchased from farmers about 5 million tons of grain, which made it possible to solve the problem of sales for some time.

This procedure will be carried out in electronic mode, using databases of the land cadastre, as well as the database of legal entities and individuals, in order to avoid dishonesty and grain sales by resellers.
