KAZAKHSTAN: Grain yield decreased by 35%

 

In Kazakhstan, the yield of winter grain crops has significantly decreased due to unfavorable weather conditions in 2021 in some regions: high temperature, lack of precipitation, low water in the southern regions. According to the data received as of 01.08.2021 from the regional akimats, the yield is 12.3 c / ha (35% less than 01.08.2020).

 

As of August 11, 2021, grain harvest from 6 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 1.14 million tons. The main grain regions of the country have not started the harvesting campaign yet.
