KAZAKHSTAN: Production of flour and vegetable oil decreased

 

According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the first 9 months of 2021, food production has increased by almost 4% (about 2 trillion tenge).

 

Separately by products, production of which increased:

Juices +3%,

Dairy products +5%,

Cereals +5%,

Butter +9%,

Sugar +260%.

 

There are also several products whose production decreased:

Sausage -0.4%,

Vegetable oil – 3%,

Flour – 4.5%.

 

In 2021, 7 new projects started in Kazakhstan:

3 of which are oil products processing,

1 – deep processing of wheat,

3 – production of cereals and pasta.

 

It is planned to implement another 100 projects, which would enable the processing of agricultural products, and, as a result, will contribute significantly to the production and exports.
