KAZAKHSTAN: Sowing work in the East of Kazakhstan will be on time
Only a few days left before the start of sowing activities, weather permitting.
In 2021, the area for sowing crops will be about 1.4 million hectares that is 16 thousand hectares more than the previous year. The volume planned for spring sowing is 1.1 million hectares.
Areas planned for sowing crops:

2% of the area will be shared between melon plantation, potatoes and vegetables. Sunflower is a priority among oilseeds as 439,000 hectares are allotted for it.
According to the information provided by the cities and districts of the East Kazakhstan region, 17,000 hectares (38%) are in good condition, the remaining 62% are satisfactory out of 44,000 hectares that were sown with winter crops.
