Kazakhstan: The volume of collected grain amounted to 21.800.000 t
According to information from the Agriculture department, as of October 17, 21.800.000 t of grain crops were collected in Kazakhstan. The average yield reached 1.46 t/ha.
As of this date, the harvesting has already been completed on 98.8% of the area, which is 14.880.000 ha.
It still remains to finish the harvesting in the northern regions of Kazakhstan. Less than 2% of the territory left to be removed. Whereas agricultural producers from Kostanay have already completed a harvesting in their region.
In general, the volume of grain obtained from the three main grain regions is 15.650.000 t.
In total, grain harvesting this year is planned on the area of 15.000.000 ha, of which wheat will be harvested from 11.000.000 ha.
The harvest season has ended in Kazakhstan and the volume of harvested grain amounted to 21.8 million tons. This is a significant increase compared to last year and indicates a good harvest in the country. Representatives of the agricultural sector note that favorable weather conditions contributed to the harvest. Wheat was harvested most successfully, as well as barley, oats, rapeseed and other crops.
The increase in the volume of harvested grain is an important indicator for Kazakhstan, since cereals are one of the country’s main export commodities. An increase in grain production can improve the economic situation of the country and contribute to the development of the agricultural sector.
