Kazakhstan: Due to weather conditions, the sowing campaign in the north was not completed on time
During the first half of June, the weather conditions did not allow the sowing campaign to be completed on time. This situation was observed in the northern regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Information was received from the Kazakhstan Meteorological Service.
During the first ten days of June, the greatest amount of precipitation fell in the north, east and center. In the rest regions of the country, precipitation remained below normal.
It should be recalled that the condtion of spring wheat in the West Kazakhstan region and Aktyubinsk region is estimated as good.
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, such as prolonged rains, long winters, or droughts, the crop planting campaign in the northern region of Kazakhstan was not completed on time, causing certain problems for agriculture and rural areas. Adverse weather conditions can have a negative impact on agricultural operations and delay the planting campaign. The delay in the crop planting campaign can lead to reduced yields and worsen the situation in rural areas where agriculture is a primary source of income. To overcome these challenges, measures need to be taken to improve infrastructure and introduce innovative technologies that will enable agricultural enterprises to more effectively cope with changing weather conditions.
