
Ukraine: SFGCU invested 100 million UAH in improving production facilities
During the nine months of the current year “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine” carried out projects to renovate its branches production facilities at the sum of more than 100 million UAH.
Such information was provided by the representative of this corporation Dmitry Gavrish. The information provided also includes the fact that the main vector of the corporation’s development is just investing in improving and updating its own production facilities, which will allow increasing the volume of harvesting, processing and export of agricultural crops.
It also became known that the corporation has updated the laboratory equipment in 42 departments, which will allow analyzing the samples more accurately and as a consequences, it will lead to a better quality control.
Moreover, the corporation has renewed the rail and truck weighbridge, and also repaired some part of the railway track and due to this it is possible to exploit heavy-duty wagons.
And finally, another innovation that appeared in some of the corporation’s departments is the new grain dryers that will save energy resources and costs related to them as well as increase the quality of drying.
This made it possible to significantly increase productivity and reduce production costs, which had a positive effect on the economic condition of the enterprise. Also, the improvement of production capacities and product quality increases the competitiveness of GPZKU in the market and ensures its stable development.
In general, investments in the improvement of production capacities are a necessary step for the development and growth of enterprises in modern conditions. They improve the quality of products, reduce costs and increase production efficiency, which ultimately leads to an increase in profits and the development of the country’s economy as a whole.
