Kazakhstan: Exports volumes of grain from Kazakhstan did not become equal to last year’s figures
The figures of grain exports for the current year did not become equal to last year’s figures, but there was also no significant growth. To be more precise, the volumes of grain exports increased quite insignificantly, namely by 4 thousands tons. This figure for July-November 2016/17 marketing year was 2.164 million tons, and this year it increased to 2.168 million tons. In a percentage ratio, this figure is 0.18%.
As previously reported, from Kazakhstan for November 2017, nearly half a million tons of grain was delivered to foreign markets. In October, exports amounted to 585 thousand tons. Consequently, during the last month the volumes of grain supplies decreased by 90 thousand tons or by slightly more than 15%. However, in other months different dynamics of exports are traced.
The start of this season was more active, but as of October, the volume of exports was lower than last year. And as a result, the results of the five months of 2016/17 marketing year and 2017/18 equalled. Dynamics for the half a year can be traced only after the lapse of December.
Data for the past year show that Kazakhstan has successfully maintained its position in grain exports and has not reduced volumes compared to the previous year. This is due to the development of grain production and its trade.
The country has excellent natural conditions for growing grain crops, as well as a developed infrastructure for their transportation and export. This allows Kazakhstan to maintain stability in grain exports and attract new partners for trade transactions.
In addition, Kazakhstan is actively working on the development of technologies and methods of grain production, which allows increasing its yield and quality. This also has a positive effect on the country’s position in the world grain market.
Thus, the export of grain from Kazakhstan continues to be a stable and successful process. The country is actively developing in the production of grain and its trade, which allows it to maintain its position in the world market and attract new partners for cooperation.
