Kazakhstan: The amount of grain harvest reached 10.000.000 t of grain

As of 17.09, almost 10.300.000 t of grain crops were harvested in Kazakhstan. Thus, the harvesting campaign is completed by 55%.

Harvesting area as pf reporting period was 8.300.000 ha, and the average yield reached 1.24 t/ha.

In three main grain regions of Kazakhstan (Akmola, Kostanay, North-Kazakhstan) the harvesting process is delayed due to unfavourable weather conditions, namely rains.

Despite the problems with weather, in Kostanay, the harvesting campaign is completed by 64% and during this period 2.700.000 t of grain was harvested.

Also, in the North-Kazakhstan region harvesting is completed by half, and the amount of grain harvested was slightly more than 2.000.000 t.

In Kazakhstan, an increase in the volume of grain crops was noted. According to statistics, the yield of grain crops increased by 10% compared to last year, and reached 10 million tons. This record figure indicates favorable conditions for agricultural production in the region.

An increase in the volume of grain crops in Kazakhstan can be a significant factor in strengthening the country’s economy. Cereals are an important export product of Kazakhstan, which can lead to an increase in foreign exchange earnings in the country.

Currently, Kazakhstan is one of the largest producers and exporters of grain crops in the world. The growth in the volume of grain crops in the country contributes to the development of the agricultural sector of the economy and the strengthening of Kazakhstan’s position in the world market.
