Ukraine: 70% of grain crops were harvested in Ukraine

As of September 10, Ukraine harvested 35.400.000 t of grain crops, and the area from which the crops were harvested was slightly over than 10.000.000 hectares, which is 68% of the total expected harvest area.

Such information was provided by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

The average yield was 3.48 t/ha.

During this period, 34.300.000 t of early grain crops, 824,000 tons of corn, 64,000 tons of buckwheat and 6,000 tons of millet were harvested. Corn yield was 5.63 t ha, buckwheat yield reached 1.29 t / ha, and millet yield was 1.6 t/ha.

Also, sunflower was harvested in the amount of 2.6 million tons (yield is slightly over 2 tons/ha). In addition, soybean and rapeseed were harvested in the amount of 430 thousand tons and 2.7 million tons respectively.
