Ukraine: Export supplies of grain amounted to 36.6 million tons

As of May 30, grain exports from Ukraine amounted to 36.600.000 t, which is 4.200.000 t less than in the same period of the previous year.

Such data was provided by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

Figures of export supplies of wheat amounted to 16.180.000 t, which is by 500.000 t less in comparison with last year.

In addition, barley exports were 4.180.000 t of barley, down 1.070.000 t compared to the same period of the previous year. Also, the export of corn decreased by 2.600.000 t in comparison with the previous year and during the reporting period it reached a level of almost 16.000.000 t.

It should be recalled that in the next marketing year, an increase in the production of grain crops by 2.200.000 t is forecast, and the production will amount to 63.500.000 t.
