
World: Grain trade in the world will become a record
During the current marketing year, the volume of grain trade is forecast at 406.6 million tons, which is 0.2% or 0.9 million tons higher than the record figure of the past year.

The wheat trade is forecast at the level of 173.8 million tons. Such a high forecast became possible due to a preservation of the stability of import demand in almost all regions. Also, according to forecasts of analysts, trade of fodder grain can break all records and reach a level of 185.8 million tons, which will exceed the figure of the past season by 2.6%. Also, the forecasts for maize trade are 145.5 million tons. This figure was achieved due to increased imports to the EU, Turkey and the Asian countries.
It should be recalled that the world’s grain production is estimated at 2.646 billion tons, which is 33 million more than the previous forecast.
