Ukraine: The export of wheat flour increased by 15%

During the two months of this year, the export of wheat flour amounted to 68.6 thousand tons, which exceeds the indicator of the same period of the past year by 15%.

Such information was provided by the State Fiscal Service.

In addition, it should be noted that exports of flour from other crops amounted to 342 thousand tons, which exceeds the same indicator of 2017 by almost a quarter.

The biggest amount of wheat flour during the reporting period was purchased by such countries as China, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. The sum of exports to these countries amounted to 5.12, 1.8 and 1.77 million dollars, respectively. And the volume of export supplies amounted to 22.83, 8 and 7.9 thousand tons.

The biggest amount of flour from other crops was purchased by such countries as Slovenia (42 thousand dollars), Poland (29 thousand dollars) and Jordan (26 thousand dollars).

It should be recalled that during the first month of this year, 141 thousand tons of flour were produced in Ukraine.

In the first two months of 2022, the export of wheat flour from Ukraine increased by 15% compared to the same period last year. Such data was published by the State Customs Service of Ukraine. The largest consumers of Ukrainian wheat flour are the countries of the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Ukrainian flour producers are actively increasing their production capacities and improving production technologies to meet the growing demand in world markets. Currently, the export of wheat flour from Ukraine has great potential for further growth.

Analysts predict that demand for wheat flour will continue to grow in the coming years, especially in emerging economies such as India, China, Nigeria and Indonesia. At the same time, Ukrainian flour producers will have to constantly improve product quality and offer competitive prices in order to maintain their positions in the global market.
