The main consumers of corn from Ukraine were Egypt (310.220 t were exported to this country, and the sum was 47.180.000 USD), the Netherlands (309.180 t were exported to this country, and the sum was 47.020.000 USD) and Spain (236.520 t were exported to this country, and the sum was almost 36.000.000 USD).

In January 2018, Ukraine increased the export of corn against the backdrop of an increase in its production in 2017. In January of this year, exports amounted to more than 2.2 million tons, which is 17% more than in the same period last year. Türkiye, Iran and China remain the largest buyers of Ukrainian corn. In general, last year Ukrainian exporters sold more than 21 million tons of corn to the world market.

The increase in corn exports is associated not only with the growth of its production in Ukraine, but also with the active promotion of the product on the world market. Ukraine is one of the leading producers of corn in the world, which provides it with the opportunity to successfully compete in the market.

Corn is one of the most widely grown crops in the world, used as livestock feed and for the production of starch, sugar, syrups, biofuels and other products. Ukraine continues to strengthen its position in the global corn market, increasing its production and exports, which allows for significant economic benefits.
