
Ukraine: During the period from July to January, Ukraine exported 24.000.000 t of cereals
During the seven months of the current MY, almost 24.000.000 t of grain was delivered from foreign markets to Ukraine.
Such information was provided by the State Fiscal Service.
The structure of exports for the reporting period is as follows. During seven months of 2017, 12.200.000 t of wheat were exported, as well as nearly 4.000.000 t of barley.
Indicators of corn supplies amounted to 7.700.000 t, while exports of rye reached a level of 13.200 t.
Also, it should be recalled that during the seven months of the current MY, 255.400 t of flour were supplied to foreign markets.
The structure of flour exports is as follows: the supply of wheat flour amounted to 254.600 t and 8000 t was flour from other types of grains.
The structure of flour exports is as follows: wheat flour shipments amounted to 254.6 thousand tonnes, while 0.8 thousand tonnes accounted for flour of other varieties.
During the period from July to January of the current year, Ukraine continues to be one of the leading exporters of grain crops. The total volume of exports for the specified period amounted to 24 million tonnes, indicating the high yield and competitiveness of Ukrainian products in the global market.
The indicators of grain crop exports in Ukraine have remained at a high level for many years. This reflects the significant potential of Ukrainian agriculture and the modern technologies used in the industry. The high export figures also indicate that Ukrainian products are competitive in the global market.
The main export crops are wheat, corn, and barley. Most of the products are shipped to the European Union, as well as to Asian and African countries. Moreover, there has been an increase in grain exports to China and India in recent times.
