Ukraine: The condition of winter crops in the south is considered as good and satisfactory

The condition of winter crops during the period from 22 to 25 of January in the south of Ukraine is mostly good and satisfactory.

Such information was provided by APK-Inform.

Weather conditions during the past 3-4 days were favourable for the sowing of winter crops, because during this period a lot of snow fell, the layer of which serves as a protection for winter crops from frosts. In this region, the ambient temperature reaches -8-120С at night.

Almost all the territory is covered with 5-10 cm of snow.

In addition, in some areas of the Odessa region, the snow layer now reached 50 cm, which, according to the agrarians, will have a positive effect on the condition of winter crops.

It should be recalled that in the central part of Ukraine, the condition of winter crops is estimated as good.

The condition of winter crops in the south of Ukraine is assessed as good and satisfactory, according to the specialists of our company. During the monitoring, it was revealed that winter crops in the south of Ukraine develop normally and strengthen before the coming winter.
