Kazakhstan: From Kazakhstan 120 thousand tons of grain were exported

Over the 12 months of 2017, the Prodkorporatsia of Kazakhstan supplied to foreign markets slightly more than 120.000 tons of cereals and oilseeds.

The report also says that over the 12 months of 2017 the main consumers of Kazakhstan crops were such countries as China, Azerbaijan, Iran, Uzbekistan and others. Countries such as China, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have become leaders in the consumption of wheat. Thus, 40 thousand tons, 15 thousand tons and 5 thousand tons were exported to these countries, respectively.

In addition, Iran became the leader in the consumption of barley. 56 thousand tons of this crop were supplied to this country. Also, about 600 tons of vegetable oil were supplied to China. And Belgium became the leader in the consumption of flax seeds from Kazakhstan. So, 3 thousand tons were exported to this country.

It should be mentioned that in the port of Aktau, Prodkorporatsia transhipped 492 thousand tons of grain.

Kazakhstan continues to actively develop its export infrastructure and increase the volume of grain exports. 120 thousand tons of grain of various crops, such as wheat, barley, corn and others, were exported from the country.

The main buyers of Kazakh grain are Russia, China, Iran, Turkey and other countries. Export of grain is an important source of foreign exchange earnings for Kazakhstan and contributes to the development of agriculture in the country.
