Ukraine: The condition of winter crops on Ukrainian fields is good

The results of a study of winter crops on Ukrainian fields showed that the condition of 6.2 million hectares of crops is good and satisfactory. As a percentage, this figure is 86%.

Such data was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

The report says that the condition of 1 million hectares of crops is weak. As a percentage, this figure is 14%.

It should be added that winter rapeseed has sprouted on the territory of 984 thousand hectares, which is 97%. The condition of 90% of crops is good, while about 10% is in a weak state, and 1 thousand hectares of crops has died.

In a long term, the condition of winter crop sowing will depend directly on how favourable the weather conditions will be.
