Innovative solutions from Perry and Borghi increase grain processing efficiency
The agricultural industry continues to implement advanced technologies aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of grain crop processing. PromInvestService presents a successful example of integrating a Perry modular grain dryer and a Borghi SPR automatic sampler for rail cars at one of the largest elevators in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Perry modular grain dryer
Perry modular grain dryer Perry, known for its range of productivity (from 5 to 500 tons per hour), ensures uniform grain drying due to the conical shape of the sections and temperature and humidity sensors. This equipment, made of galvanized steel, is durable and adaptable to various agricultural crops. The elevator notes that the use of the dryer reduces grain processing time by 20% and reduces energy costs due to precise adjustment of drying parameters.
Borghi SPR Automatic Sampler
To control the quality of incoming grain, the enterprise has implemented the Borghi SPR automatic sampler. This device, installed on a monorail, ensures accurate sampling from railway cars with a rotation angle of 340 degrees and the ability to transport samples over a distance of up to 100 meters. Thanks to three types of probes (aspiration, logging and auger), the sampler guarantees representative samples, which is critical for analyzing moisture and impurities. According to elevator technologists, automation of sampling has reduced analysis time by 30% and minimized the human factor.
Implementation Results
“The integration of these technologies has allowed us not only to improve product quality, but also to optimize logistics processes. Now we can accept and process grain faster, which is especially important during the harvesting campaign,” the elevator director noted.
Perry and Borghi equipment, presented by PromInvestService (pis.com.ua), has already proven itself as a reliable solution for modern agricultural enterprises. Experts predict that such technologies will become the industry standard, ensuring the high competitiveness of Ukrainian grain on the world market.
