Ukraine: About 8 million hectares are sown with winter crops

As of 09.11.2020, 7,7 million hectares, which is 94% of the plan, have been sown with the main winter crops. The amount of hectares that has been sown during the previous week reached 221.2 thousand hectares.

Information about each crop:

– The sown area under wheat reached 5.8 million hectares, which is 95% of the plan.
– The sown area under barley reached 903 thousand hectares, which is 95% of the plan.
– The sown area under rye reached 119,5 thousand hectares, which is 90% of the plan.
– The sown area under rapeseed reached 865 thousand hectares, which is 86% of the plan.
