Russia: From January to April, nearly 300 thousand tons of palm oil were imported

Russia imported into the country 299.3 thousand tons of palm oil worth 232.6 million USD during the period from January to April 2020, which is 17.2% less than last year (in terms of quantity), but by 3.3% more in cash.

During the first 4 months of 2020, 670 thousand tons of soybeans worth 264.2 million dollars were imported to Russia.

At the same time, during the reported period oilseed imports increased by 12.1% (in terms of quantity) and by 10.3% in monetary terms.

Russia imported meslin for the amount of 107.9 million USD (32 thousand tons), wheat for the amount of 12.6 million USD (40.3 thousand tons), corn for the amount of 107.9 million USD (32 thousand tons) and barley for the amount of 2.2 million USD (9.7 thousand tons).
