
Ukraine: Grain export supplies reached more than 8 million tons
During the period from the beginning of 19/20 MY and as of September 3 of this year grain exports reached 8.2 million tons.

This figure is 3.4 million tons more than it was in the same period last year. During the same period last year, the volume of foreign supplies reached 5.5 million tons. During this period, 4.96 million tons of wheat were exported, which is 2.07 million tons more than last year. In addition, barley and corn supplies totaled 2.09 and 1.85 million tons. We also observed an increase in supply of these crops by 0.7 million tons and 0.66 million tons respectively. Rye supplies this season decreased by 17.8 thousand tons compared to last year and reached 1.9 thousand tons.
Export of grain crops from Ukraine continues to grow in the current season and exceeded the mark of 8 million tons. This testifies to the high quality of Ukrainian grain and the interest of buyers from around the world. Ukraine is one of the leading exporters of grain crops in the world due to favorable climatic conditions, productive soils and a high level of technological equipment in the industry. The volume of grain exports continues to grow, which contributes to the strengthening of Ukraine’s position in the world market of agricultural products.
