Russia: The results of 2018 showed a decrease in production volumes

The results of 2018 showed a decline in the production of agricultural products for the first time in 6 years. Compared to 2017, the production volume decreased by 0.6%, which is 88 billion rubles. According to the results of the past year, the production of agricultural goods reached 5.12 trillion rubles.

Such information was received from the statistics committee.

However, in 2018 there was an increase in production in the livestock sector (by 1.3%), while the production of plant products faced a decrease of 2.4%.

It should be recalled that according to forecasts from the Ministry of Agriculture, an increase of 1% was expected last year.
