Russia: The increase in export drops to 10.1%

According to information received from the Ministry of Agriculture, during the period from July to November, 24.300.000 t of grain were exported from Russia, which exceeds the figure for the same period last year by 10.1%. Last year, over the same period it was exported 22.000.000 t.

The volume of export supplies of wheat amounted to 20.400.000 t, which exceeds last year’s figure by 19.3%, while the supply of barley and corn amounted to 2.700.000 t and 850.000 t, respectively. Exports of these crops have reduced by 9.7%.

It should be recalled that according to the forecast from the Ministry of Agriculture, the volume of grain exports in the current MY is projected at 38-39.000.000 t, of which the volume of wheat supplies will be 34-35.000.000 t.
