Kazakhstan: Export supplies of wheat from Kostanay totaled 1.5 million tons

During this year, 1.5 million tons of wheat were exported from Kostanay to 22 destinations around the world.

Such information was obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture.

During this year, 1.594 million tons were shipped from Kostanay abroad. The main importing countries of this product are Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Italy, China, etc. All of the abovementioned countries are the leading importers of grain from the Kostanay region.

In total, from Kostanay, the specified product is exported to 22 destinations.

It should be added that the harvesting campaign ended only a few days ago. The total number of crops harvested in the current year amounted to 5.2 million tons, and the average yield for the specified period reached 1.28 tons per hectare.

The volume of wheat export from Kostanay reached 1.5 million tons. This indicates that Kazakhstan continues to increase the volume of exports of its grain crops. Wheat is one of the main export crops of Kazakhstan, and the Kostanay region occupies one of the leading places in its production.
