13.5 Million Tons of Grain Harvested in Kazakhstan: Harvesting Campaign Continues

The grain harvest is underway in Kazakhstan. As of September 9, farmers had harvested 9.6 million hectares of grain crops, or 61.6% of the total area, producing 13.5 million tons of grain with an average yield of 1.41 tons per hectare.

The pace of the harvesting campaign this season is significantly ahead of the figures recorded during the same period in 2025. At the same time, the quality characteristics of the incoming crop remain stable.

Licensed grain receiving facilities have already received 2.83 million tons of grain. For comparison, 552,700 tons were received during the same period last year. This means that the volume of grain delivered to these facilities has increased more than fivefold.
