As of October 23, more than ten million tons of sunflower seeds were harvested

As of October 23, 2015, 52.2 million tons (39.2 centners per hectare) of grain and leguminous crops were harvested in the territory of 13.3 million hectares, which is 91% of the predicted area under cultivation (14.6 million hectares).

 

Most of the grain was harvested in the territory of the Kharkov region – 4.2 million tons. Harvesting in Poltava region was also successful. There 3.8 million tons were collected, and 3.7 million tons were collected in Dnepropetrovsk. In Vinnytsa is was collected 3.4 million tons and in Charkassy and Nikolaev 2.9 million tons were collected. In Kirovograd it was collected 2.8 million tons. As for Kherson, it was 2.6 million tons collected and in Khmelnitsky 2.5 million tons were produced. In Sumy, 2.4 million tons were harvested, and in Kiev 2.3 million tons.

 

Cherkassy is the most productive area, the indicator reaches 55.7 c/ha.

 

Now late grain cultures are harvested

 

Corn, taking into account the prediction of 4.1 million hectares, is harvested on an area of 2.8 million hectares, or 67%. 14.4 million tons were harvested, and the productive rate is 51.5 centners per hectare.

 

Buckwheat, taking into account the prediction of 132,000 hectares, is harvested on an area of 121,000 hectares, or 92%. 139 thousand tons were harvested, and the productive rate is 11.5 centners per hectare.

 

Millet, taking into account the prediction of 108,000 hectares, is harvested on an area of 104,000 hectares, or 97%. 208 thousand tons were harvested, and the productive rate is 20 centners per hectare.

 

Soya, taking into account the prediction of 2.1 million hectares, is harvested on an area of 1.9 million hectares, or 88%. 3.2 million tons were harvested, and the productive rate is 17 centners per hectare.

 

Sunflower, taking into account the prediction of 5 million hectares, is harvested on an area of 4.8 million hectares, or 97%. 10.3 million tons were harvested, and the productive rate is 21.2 centners per hectare.

 

Sugar beet, taking into account the prediction of 238,000 hectares, is harvested on an area of 147,000 hectares, or 62%. 5.8 million tons were harvested, and the productive rate is 396 centners per hectare.
